His birthname might be John Williams, but to Cleveland fans across the world he is forever known as “Hot Rod”.  Quite possibly the greatest Cleveland nickname of all-time.

From the day he set foot in town, fresh off his acquittal in the Tulane point-shaving scandal, he was just a perfect fit for this city.  The Cavs bet on Hot Rod – and it paid off – big time.
